This workshop will address the common ailment of Lower Back Pain and explore the element of Water in Chinese Medicine, as we move deeper into this yin time of Winter.

The workshop is an experience of learning and breathing combined with elements of sound healing and community connections. It starts off with an introduction to breathwork and its place in the modern world, the history and application of different breathing techniques and plenty of storytelling and jokes of my own experiences in learning and teaching breathwork. Participants are invited to try a small series of breathing exercises and share their experiences before being guided through a 45 minute deep breathing session with live music and sound healing. Afterwards there is room for reflection and Q&A. Participants will receive access to a 7 day breathing program starting the day after the workshop, a bunch of follow up resources and we'll check in with them regularly via email following the event to offer support with integration and further learning.

Staying open and offering compassion to what shows up in the body is so powerful, we learn to tell our ANS that we are safe, and the body then loosens its grip allowing more movement, flow and prana.
