When things show up for us in our bodies, this is a sign to tune in and listen!. For many of us, we have been conditioned to react with frustration or anger and judge our experience. I'm going to invite you to see what presents with compassion and curiosity. If we close, we then shut down our Autonomic Nervous System Temporarily. Staying open and offering compassion to what shows up in the body is so powerful, we learn to tell our ANS that we are safe, and the body then loosens its grip allowing more movement, flow and prana.
I believe this is key to maintaining a healthy digestive system, a mind that is present, stress elimination (and choice), and a body that moves well.
In this three week immersion, we will travel through the seven major chakras (energy centres of the body) and dive into the emotion behind what may be keeping us stuck in these areas. From this understanding, we can then discuss what is needed to be able to unravel the layers, and clear our chakras, creating better energy flow, less stress, and more vitality for life!
This course also dives into the Autonomic Nervous System, and the life changing findings from Stephen Porgess and The PolyVagal Theory. Talking on the three states of the nervous system and how to recognise when we are in Dorsal Vagal shut down (freeze, numb), Sympathetic stress (fight flight) or Social Engagement (calm, responsive).
Empowering ourselves with knowledge is by far the best thing we can do to understand our bodies from the inside out. This is a resourceful tool for not only you, but your family to now tune in, listen to what the body is telling you, learn to say thank you for what shows up in our body, so that we then have the opportunity to do something about it.
