End of year exams approaching fast? Trying to balance assignments/study/work/social life/sport? Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, tired, worried? You are not alone.
This yoga workshop is especially for those in year 12 preparing for HSC exams, may also be suitable for those in Year 11 embarking on this huge journey. Many of you will be studying these holidays with trials looming, but take a break, 75 mins to refresh and reset.
You will have the opportunity to practice breathing techniques and meditations to help manage stress, improve energy levels and clear thinking as well as yoga poses and flows to release tensions. You can then practice the techniques that appealed to you regularly or as a ‘quick fix’ prior to or during an exam. They are skills that will support you now and in life beyond the HSC.
A little about Maree:
A yoga teacher of 10 years and a mum of 2 teenagers, Maree is passionate about creating safe and accessible yoga that supports you in your life journey, whatever stage and unique path you choose to follow. A background in western health, working as an Occupational Therapist for 15 years and further yoga teacher training in mental health aware yoga, yin yoga and pre/post natal yoga Maree has a deep understanding of the uniqueness of each individual and how a yoga practice can be shaped, creating balance and wellbeing for you.
