Self-compassion is a concept that we all understand, but many of us find it hard to implement. We live in a culture than tends to encourage sucking it up and toughing it out. But that’s just not the best way to travel! People with high levels of self-compassion have greater emotional resilience, increased feelings of happiness, optimism, curiosity and connectedness, as well as decreased anxiety, depression, rumination and fear of failure. Self-compassion is a simple to learn skill and it make a huge difference to how we experience the ups and particularly the downs of life.
Find out about self-compassion and practical strategies to foster it in a two hours FREE Online workshop with Meg Spry, Psychologist and Yoga Teacher.
