Yin yoga immersion & sound healing for the chakras
Join yoga teacher Gabby Vinden and sound healer Gerda Temple for a journey through the senses. This deeply nourishing 2 hour workshop will focus on balancing the chakras through yin yoga and sound healing. You will be guided to release stagnant stored physical and emotional energy using a series of yin yoga asana for each chakra synchronised to the calming sounds and deep healing vibrations of singing bowls tuned to the frequency of each chakra. The healing energy of the singing bowls, shamanic drumming, rattles, chimes, and vocal toning will deepen and enhance the effects of the yoga asana. This combination will create a state of stillness to help restore equilibrium to the 7 chakras allowing one to melt away stress, clear the mind and connect you deeply to your inner knowing and wisdom.
Balancing the chakras can assist to promote health and well-being by ensuring the free flow of energy (also referred to as prana or qi) throughout the body. It is believed that blockages in the flow of this vital energy can eventually result in mental, emotional and/or physical dis - ease.
“Each of the seven chakras are governed by spiritual laws, principlpes of consciousness that we can use to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and wellbeing in our lives and in the world.” Deepak Chopra
